How to Connect an iPod to an Amp & Subwoofers

    • 1). Locate the auxiliary input on the stereo receiver that's connected to your amp and subwoofer. This small, circular input will be labeled "AUX." Typically this input is found on the front of the stereo receiver, but on some units it may be found on the back.

    • 2). Plug an auxiliary cable into the auxiliary input on your stereo receiver.

    • 3). Plug the opposite end of the auxiliary cable into the headphone jack on your iPod.

    • 4). Press the "AUX" input button on your stereo receiver. Now, when you play songs on your iPod you will hear them over your speaker system, including the amp and subwoofer.
