Reviews of the Top 3 TV Shows or Series of 2009
Counting down...
At number 3 - The Vampire Diaries With it being on the CW, this has to be a prime time hit series.
Ripped off from the blockbuster and best-selling book "TWILIGHT," this show proves that "if ain't broken, don't fix it!" This show has gotten all my little cousins, nieces, nephews and siblings talking about it.
At the bus stop, on their away messages and status updates, the frenzy for blood sucking vampires continues.
Why it is a hit? Plenty of reasons.
Vampires even existing is intriguing, throw some young adults, some teenage hormones and you've got a hit! The interaction between the secret vampire world, immortality and the normal life all transfused (get it?) into one episode is just too much for kids to sink their teeth in (get it?).
Okay but with vampires on the loose in the TV and movie world, our kids our safe from the streets in the real world watching these shows.
They could be off doing worse things so I don't mind.
Which is why this show gets a number 3 spot in my review countdown.
Number 2 - The Office Insanely funny, laugh out loud hilarious, and a star filled cast are just a few reasons why this show has continued success.
Being on NBC, really brings a huge audience to look forward to it every week.
The new comedy involves awkward inappropriate jokes, mishandled situations and rude dialogue.
All elements for a great comedic performance.
This show is so successful because of the millions of Americans who actually have to go to "the office" every morning for work.
It is a microcosm of everyday life for those middle class working corporate Americans.
It has every character right on the money especially a boss who is downright funny.
This season in 2009, they even have "the office: wedding episode" which seems to kinda be a big deal within the fan community.
It is almost like an actual event happening that can't afford to be missed.
Realistic, creative, and hysterical puts this show high up in my rankings at the number 2 spot.
And, drum roll please...
Number 1 - Entourage Genius.
Every season gets better and better.
Every episode leaves the audience wanting more.
Impressive, exhilarating, dramatic.
Has audiences hooked, even if its on HBO.
You never really know what will happen next in the city of Hollywood.
The life of a movie star and the entertainment business makes you want to live in it.
From the expensive cars to the sexy models all the way to the celebrity guest they are able to consistently bring on to the show is impeccable.
Every character serves a purpose in this show and with all of them acting as one whole cohesive unit, the outstanding series radiates with brilliance.
From emotional turmoil to life long lessons, every conflict has a moral to the story that can be relayed to your own life.
We as the audience get to think BIG for a change and see how life could be like and actually is for those Hollywood starlets.
Fun, entertaining and spectacular scenes, this show will never let you down.
Hands down my favorite show this year wrapping up their sixth season.
Untouchably, undoubtedly the number 1 hit series of 2009.
Thanks for tuning in!
