How to Clean Mold Off Particle Board
- 1). Combine one part household bleach with three parts water in a spray bottle. Swirl the mixture to ensure the parts are mixed.
- 2). Spray the diluted bleach onto the particle board. Use a soft or medium-bristled cleaning brush to scrub the mold from the particle board.
- 3). Dampen a soft cloth with cool water and wipe away all remaining bleach.
- 4). Repeat the process as needed until all mold is removed.
- 1). Combine 1/4 cup boric acid with a half gallon of water in a spray bottle.
- 2). Spray the particle board with the cleaning mixture. Allow the mixture to work into the particle board and mold for approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how bad the mold is.
- 3). Spray the particle board with the cleaning mixture. Use a soft or medium-bristled cleaning brush to scrub the mold from the particle board.
- 4). Dampen a soft cloth with cool water and wipe away all remaining boric acid residue. Allow the particle board to air dry.
- 5). Repeat the process as needed until all mold is removed.
