How to Install a Lavabo
- 1). Find a firm and level place for the lavabo. Make sure the statuary will not wobble or sink into the ground. This is particularly important when installing fountains to ensure even water flow. Furthermore, the site should be near a garden hose to make it easier to clean the fountain and refill its water.
- 2). Apply silicone adhesive to the various pieces as you assemble the fountain according to the accompanying instructions. These instructions vary by model. Lay down the shell or bowl on the location, depending on whether you're installing a circular bowl, multi-tiered or shell fountain.
- 3). Assemble and attach the tubing according to the instructions. Install the fountain's pump and plug it into the GCFI protected receptacle. Attach the spray ring if your fountain has one. Finally, fill the shell or bowl with water.
