The Baylor Bears head coach Art Briles was on hand to meet with the local media recently about Baylor's Big 12 opener at Oklahoma. After being on tour around the country with stops at locations such as North Carolina, Ohio and Louisiana, Briles mentioned that it was good to be back home and about the team being ready to play on their own ground.
"I think coming out of the four non-conference games, we have some setbacks with some season-ending injuries. I think that from a defensive standpoint we have really seen at times what our defense can do and we've seen at times what our defense doesn't need to do. I think we're ready to get going on Saturday," senior linebacker Joe Pawelek said.
