How to Book VIP Tours at Universal Studios Florida

    • 1). Determine whether you really need to take a VIP tour. If you're staying at one of the on-site hotels at the Universal Orlando resort, you'll already receive Express actions to virtually every ride and attraction. While this isn't exactly front of the line, your wait will be minimal because you'll be directed to a special line. Even though you get true front-of-the-line access with the VIP tour, bypassing even the Express line, it might not be worth it if you are an on-site guest.

    • 2). Decide whether you want an exclusive tour or whether you're willing to join a group. Universal Studios offers two types of VIP tours. The first is exclusive to your group. It costs around 1,600 dollars for up to 12 people, lasts about 8 hours and is customized to your likes and dislikes. A non-exclusive tour is a group experience that lasts about 7 hours and covers all of the major rides and attractions. It costs 120 dollars per person. If you prefer a custom experience and money is no object, or if you have a large group, the exclusive tour may be your best choice. Otherwise the non-exclusive tour might be the best option.

    • 3). Find out whether your preferred tour date is available. Space is limited on the group tours, and the number of exclusive tours is also limited based on guide availability. Find out whether a specific date is available by calling Universal at (407) 363-8295 or emailing viptours@universalorlando.com.
