Harpswell Inn

The structure was built in 1898 and, from 1945 to 1987, it was used as a private summer cottage. Bellevue by the Sea opened in 1987. The cottage is filled with hand-painted furniture and hand-crafted quilts. The structure is highlighted by a spacious front porch, which offers spectacular views of the ocean as well as the night-time stars.
  
  

Captain's Watch

• Captain's Watch is located in an 1862 landmark home located atop an elevated bluff, offering views of a small, working harbor and beyond to islands and bays. Recognized by the National Register of Historic Places, the original eight-room building survives as Maine's oldest known coastal hotel structure. Five guest rooms are available, all with private baths. Family antiques and collections of old china and quilts are accents in the guest rooms.
