Never Cold Call For Leads Again!
The problem is that you can quickly "burn through" your warm market list of contacts. You may even be hesitant to reach out in the first place because after all, they're people close to you....and for some reason these seem to be the people whose "approval" makes things extra weird...at least in the beginning.
Or, perhaps you've approached them in the past about a business you were involved with and you don't want to risk approaching them again...after all now you feel that they can use that against you...
You know. Scared they'll ask you something like..."What happened to that last THING (ouch!) you approached me about?
It's not your fault. In fact, it's natural to not want to try and sell something to your family and friends, whether a product or a business opportunity. Well there is a new way to do things. With the advent of the internet and social media, things have significantly changed... and that's a good thing.
The internet and social media have opened up all kinds of new lead-generating opportunities for networkers. So this is the thing. And you'll notice that I sing this tune a LOT because it really does matter...
Before you begin your social media takeover you must first focus on answering the question, €How can I be valuable to others, consistently over time, so I can attract people into my online business.€
One thing that I have found helpful is to understand that the average network marketer is not really looking for a different business opportunity per se...so it makes very little sense to keep vomiting (sorry about the visual you may have gotten there) about how great YOUR opportunity and products are.
That is NOT how you create value.
The way you create value is to demonstrate, through your marketing, things that they can begin to use themselves. This is so very important to the network marketers who are just beginning to realize...and most importantly...commit to.
The key is create value in yourself. You don't have to be perfect. Be yourself. That's good enough. You don't have to be a perfectionist in order to write an article like this one or make some videos.
The truth of the matter is that the people who are perfectionists come across as stiff and BORING! People are looking for somebody they can relate to and that very well could be you.
One thing of value that you can do is point people in the direction of a valuable resource that they can use to understand the network marketing industry as it stands TODAY and give them a proven system that they can use to begin generating leads for themselves.
That's it! Take that first small action step in creating perceived value for/in yourself.
