Divorce Can Be a Road Hazard
While divorce is acceptable and part of modern life, it can be distracting as well.
The 1970's survey by the United States Agency, which looks at car accidents rates, shows that fatalities due to car accidents doubled for divorcing people.
This is probably because of stress.
Imagine yourself driving along.
You're upset about what your wife said about you, you're concerned about money for court, you feel that you don't have quite the right lawyer, you're worried about what will happen to your kids, and you feel like nobody loves you.
All of these things can drive you crazy, but you're driving the car.
When driving, it's important to pay attention to what's happening because a car is a lethal weapon.
Remember that you want to live and be well.
This will be good for both you and your kids.
There are certain circumstances when being upset could be extremely dangerous - being distraught when you're the operator of a vehicle is one of those times.
Don't forget that when driving while upset, it is possible to get into an accident.
Just say to yourself, "I don't want to do that today.
" You may be upset at the moment, but in the end it's not worth your safety.
So, pull over, breathe, and take a few minutes to gather your thoughts.
After you've relaxed, get back on the road and drive towards a better life.
