What is Tubal embryo transfer (TET) The operation is carried out as a surgical procedure in the hospital under a general anaesthesia with the use of medical laparoscopy.
Unlike ZIFT, after the eggs are collected and allowed to fertilized with the male partner sperm, the zogotes are cultivated in the lab for 2 days and the embryos are replaced into the female partner fallopian tube.
It is said that TET allows the embryos to travel naturally into the uterus for natural implantation, thereby, increasing the chance of conceive, but study shows that the chance for conceive through TET is the same in other ART and only be used after IVF is not successfully.
