How to Replace the Belt on a Nautilus T914 Treadmill
- 1). Make sure the treadmill is turned off. Unplug the power cord.
- 2). Remove the two side motor covers by unscrewing the 10 screws securing it to the base unit. Remove the center motor cover by removing the four screws securing it to the base unit. Put the screws and motor covers aside.
- 3). Remove the two adjustment bolts, washers and end caps located the end of the treadmill deck. Lift the two side rail covers off of the deck. Unbolt the left and right side rails. Lay the rails on their sides.
- 4). Unscrew and remove the two brackets that attach the front roller to the treadmill deck. Lift the front roller up and slowly slide the belt off. Remove the front and rear treadmill belt rollers.
- 5). Unbolt the treadmill deck and lift it off of the base. Slip the belt off of the deck and dispose it in the garbage.
- 6). Slide the new walking belt over the treadmill deck. Place the deck back on the treadmill base and bolt it secure.
- 7). Fit the front roller inside the front end of the belt. Make sure the pulley end is on the right side of the belt. Slide the drive belt over the pulley end. Lower the front roller. Place the two front brackets over the front rollers. Screw them securely to the treadmill deck.
- 8). Fit the rear roller inside the back end of the belt. Make sure the bolt holes face the back of the deck. Lift the walking belt and apply a thin coat of silicone lubricant along the center of the deck.
- 9). Bolt the side rails back in their slots. Replace the side rail covers and add the end caps over the rails. Reinstall all the rear adjustment bolts and washers. Place the motor covers back onto the deck and tighten the bolts until they are secure.
