Pumping and Dumping Investments Onto Money Trash

103 35
The World is getting smaller as time pushes forward to the future.
It is when the circle gets smaller that foolish elements are on the loose to hoard and swindle our safe investments.
Imagine yourself getting convinced on investing your money with someone you barely knew and all the perks that you would be able to receive in the long run and all of a sudden it will all burst like a bubble.
That's where the concept of Pump and Dump Stocks comes in.
Pump and Dump is one of the most notorious fraud schemes in the market today.
It is prevalent in the United States and bogus companies earn or swindle a lot of cash through it.
During the old times, Pump and Dump Stocks work through Cold Calling on a telemarketing strategy.
Calls are usually done outbound by bogus stock promoters where they call potential investors and present to them an investment plan in ensuring you earn as much as you have investing by buying their stocks.
These offers are mostly exaggerating and off the hook since it is something that cannot be offered realistically by bigger investment companies.
Of course as time and technology went to the bogus investor's advantage, we would be able to see these offers online mostly on spam e-mails.
The concept of Pump and Dump Stocks begins on the transaction between the investor with the stock promoter.
The investment offer usually is larger than the usual stock price since they are assured of multiple profits in the long run.
Of course the higher investment ploy also serves as bait to other people to invest as well since they have heard that it can offer multiple and bigger profits as compared to bigger investors.
That's how it starts discreetly, as soon as the rates get larger because of the continuous demands, in reality the prices plainly plateau on its original rate.
It is where the scammers start to work on their magic and gradually sell the shares on a lower price and would stop promoting the stock, prompting it to plunge rock bottom.
This leaves investors getting an insignificant amount out of their invested money.
Pump and Dump Stocks have led to the demise of several companies, most notably Enron way back 2001.
But seeing the actions done to ensure the illegal transaction is still an elusive one to solve it and prevent it in the long-term.
It has led to several laws being passed onto the United States judiciary system in ensuring its efforts in reducing and putting awareness on investors around the nation.
We all know that everybody's goal is to earn enough money when we grow old.
But with how the World works, it is sad that there are deceptive people who can come up with these plans.
The best thing for us not to be treated as a victim is to be in the know and putting yourself in the know.
