FICO Scores and Your Auto Insurance

103 140
There are a few things that will increase your auto insurance rates.
If you receive too many speeding tickets, if you place too many claims against your policy, and if you're individual FICO score is too low.
The three things mentioned above will come to the same conclusion and that is you have become risky.
When this happens the car insurance company will have to decide whether or not they will continue to take the chance on insuring you.
If they decide that you are too risky they will give you a written notice stating that they will not continue to insure you and your vehicle.
When this happens you will have to find another company that will take over the auto insurance on your vehicle.
Expect your premiums to be higher no matter who you go with because of the history on your last insurance policy.
It will be obvious to the new car insurance company why the last auto insurance company let you go.
Look to the internet for free online auto insurance quotes and see what companies come forward that may be willing to assist you.
There are insurance companies that deal with high risk drivers so there will be results for your internet query.
You will have to decide at that point which company you will purchase your new auto insurance policy from for your vehicle.
Hopefully the premiums are not too high and you are working on changing the behavior of your driving habits so you do not continue to get traffic violations and are avoiding accidents.
This will be the only way that after some time that your car insurance rates will decrease.
When some time has passed you can revisit the internet and search again for the free internet auto insurance auto rates to compare companies for lower auto insurance premiums.
Once you are able to return to the lower premiums the only way the increases will return is if you give the auto insurance company a reason to raise them.
They would be your FICO score and if it decreases because this will mean you are becoming a financial risk, traffic violations and claims against your policy because this will mean your bad driving behavior is returning and the you are becoming a risk to the company.
