Meet The Woman In Black
The Woman in Black movie is about a young solicitor Arthur who lives with his four-year-old son Joseph. Kipps' wife Stella died after childbirth and he has visions of her and is facing financial problems along with stress from his firm. He is assigned to handle the estate of Alice Drablow who owned Eel Marsh House in the north east of England, where she had lived with her husband, son Nathaniel, and sister, Jennet Humfrye.
At Eel Marsh House, located on an island in the marshes, which is linked to the mainland only by a long causeway that is covered at high tide, Kipps starts working on the paperwork. But things soon get ugly. Kipps keeps seeing an apparition of a woman dressed in black and strange things start happening followed by children committing suicide.
Kipps learns that the woman in black is actually Alice Drablow's sister who has cole back to take revenge for her son's death that she thinks was caused because of her sister's negligence. Slowly he realises that there is a lot more going on in the Eel Marsh House than he had thought and he learns that his son is the woman in black's next intended victim. He quickly takes care of business and finds the remains of the child buried in the causeway, laying him to rest next to his mother. Thinking that that would put an end to the woman in black's killing spree he reunites with his son at the railway station and plans to leave immediately. While bidding Sam goodbye, Joseph sees the Woman in Black and jumps onto the train tracks. Kipps tries to save him, but an approaching train kills them both. However, still standing on the tracks with Joseph and initially not realising that he is dead, Arthur is overjoyed to see his wife. All three of them are reunited in death as The Woman In Black looks on.
The woman in black movie is an adaptation of Susan Hill's 1983 horror fiction novel of the same name.
From the The Woman in Black trailer we can see that the movie has been well shot and directed and has some very impressive graphics. The scenes depicted in the trailer though don't seem to be very scary. The movie is all set to release on the 10th of February but The Woman in Black review will finally tell us how the movie does in the box office. By the looks of the trailer, it can be expected to do pretty well.
