There are times when doing anything on the Internet is almost impossible, most people think it is there computer and this is where they are often wrong.
It is not always the computers fault when it is running slow.
Some of the things that can cause a slow computer are it needs maintenance, no not by the shop, but by the computer owner.
This means it needs to be cleaned, the cookies need to be deleted using disk cleanup found in the system tools, it needs the system defragmenter used to clean up the hard drive.
These are things that should be done on a monthly basis to ensure the computer is in top running condition.
These are not the only problems that can make a computer run slowly, there are other problems like the Internet service that is being used, this can be the reason a computer runs slow on the Internet.
It can be the service is not a high-speed service or if it is a high-speed service it might not have the ability to run at high-speed during peak hours.
This can mean slow going during certain hours, on weekends or holidays because there is an increased amount of people all using the same services equipment.
It can also be a problem in the phone wirers or the underground cable that needs repairs done that is slowing the high-speed Internet service if it is for an extended amount of time.
In this case the only option is to either wait till the service picks up speed or call the service provider to see if there is a problem in your area.
This is one advantage that satellite Internet has, the peak hours are barely noticeable; using a satellite dish in space is far different from using phone lines or even cable wires.
Since it works differently there is not the down time, the bogged down feeling when trying to make your way around the Internet and there is not the slow downloading time.
What you do have is a fast connection speed, where downloading takes seconds and web pages load in the blink of an eye.
This is high-speed Internet that when the question comes up is it the Internet service or is it the computer, try cleaning the computer out, unless it takes two blinks of the eye for a page to load.
This could be the peak hour slow down that makes other Internet services run like something is clogging the lines.
No one likes slow when it involves computers and the first thing they always think is that it is their computer and complain they need to buy a new one instead of looking at the problem from the point of view that the computer can only go as fast on the Internet as the Internet service allows them to go.
This of course is unless they have not replaced or upgraded their computer in ten years.
In that case the person might really have a valid complaint about their computer after all.
