Yowwza, Yowzza, Oops - Social Networking! In My Novice and Humble Opinion
These last few days have been most exhilarating.
I have been enjoying the excitement, thrill, tension and stress of an Internet launch.
What a rush! There you are sitting at your keyboard, clicking finger poised, eye on the clock and then boom! You can't see them, but you know you are in a huge intense race.
The page starts to load then jams...
you refresh and still it won't load.
As quickly as you can, clear the cookies, hold your breath and try again..
...
Success ! I got in!Man, was that was exciting.
This is the beginning of something really big and now I'm part of it.
The endorphins are still flowing.
Even though, at this point, I've hardly slept the last few days, I'm still trolling for sign-ups.
I want to be part of the building process of these kinds of opportunities.
Why?I believe this to be the most important business tool that I or other marketers can possess.
Social Networking has been around for a while now.
There are a number of sites out there trying to fill this niche.
You want to look for a site including as many bells and whistles as possible.
Some options to look for are messaging (of course), blogging, videos and being able to network easily within the site.
People from all walks of Internet marketing and business are joining these sites.
It is exciting to have a chance to interact, learn and connect in business with a wide range of entrepreneurs.
Being a relatively new kid on the block myself, these opportunities area major break.
Don't get me wrong.
In the course of my Internet quest for independence, I have been the recipient of many fine, even warm and friendly communications (emails).
However, they tend to (for the most part) lack any real, personal touch.
It would be impossible,in a successful program, for the head hauncho to be familiar and in touch with each and every affiliate.
Even when engaging in audios/videos (though they are a tremendous help), conference calls or Internet meetings, this has it's limits.
Social Networking lends another avenue to connecting communicating with some of the many names behind the email that lands in your inbox.
This new trend (more towards the business side) is offering a chance for new and top of the rung marketing folks to mingle a bit.
This allows us to learn and exchange ideas with fellow affiliates, instead of one person in an up-line.
Quite frankly, or jimly, or johnly, or yaroly, or jeffly, or mikely, or mikeg-ly, or (well, you get the drift by now).
I honestly don't know who or where everyone is involved for sure, but it is definitely worth investigating.
It is appealing to think that in belonging to a Social Networking site designed for business and marketing, I can be picking the brains of people at high levels of the Internet Marketing business.
Maybe I'll run into you somewhere.
