How to Close an Unclosable Form if Alt F4 Is Disabled
- 1). Hold "Ctrl" and "Shift" together and press "Esc." This will launch the Windows Task Manager.
- 2). Select the "Applications" tab to view a list of open windows on your system. The list will include your open form. Select the form and click "End Task." The window should now close. If this does not work, continue on.
- 3). Right-click the form from the list on the Applications tab and click "Go to process." This will take you to the Processes tab and highlight the process that is holding the form open.
- 4). Right-click the offending process and click "End Process." When you're prompted with a warning, click "End Process" to affirm that this is what you want to do. Windows will close the application and the form, leaving you free to continue working.
