    Online Check-In

    • 1). Visit the official website of Malaysia Airlines online at www.malaysiaairlines.com to confirm your e-ticket no more than 48 hours and no less than 90 minutes before your flight.

    • 2). Select your country or region of residence and language from the drop-down lists on the main page of the airline and click "Enter."

    • 3). Look for the gray menu bar on top of the new website, which opens after you clicked on "Enter." Roll your mouse over "Check-In" on that tab. You will see five different check-in options. Disregard the "Web" option, which will show you only the steps you need to take to confirm your e-ticket, and click on "Check-In Now."

    • 4). Click on your preferred identification options in Step 1, which are either E-Ticket Number, Passenger Name and Flight Details or Enrich Card Number. Either option can be used to confirm your e-ticket. Once you type in new details accurately and click "Continue," a new Web page will open with Step 2.

    • 5). Check off the passenger or passengers you want to check-in by clicking on the box next to their names. This can be either you if you are traveling alone, or additional passengers who are traveling with you if the reservation was done for more than one person. Click "Continue," which will lead to Step 3.

    • 6). Select the flight or flights you want to confirm by checking-off the box or boxes by the flight numbers in Step 3 of the online check-in process. Click "Continue" to open the following Web page with Step 4.

    • 7). Fill-in the blank spaces in Step 4 with your passport details, such as your full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, passport information and residency information. Click "Continue," and you will be taken to Step 5.

    • 8). Confirm your check-in details in Step 5, which show the date and time of the confirmed flight, the status that should read as "Checked-in" and your seat number. Click on the "Change" button to change your seat number. Repeat the process for each passenger or flight if necessary. Make sure all details are correct. Once done, click "Continue."

    • 9). Print your boarding pass in Step 6 by clicking on "Print Boarding Pass." Bring this boarding pass with you to the airport to check-in your luggage. You may also choose the second option in Step 6, which is "Send Boarding Pass to Mobile Device." Enter in your mobile phone number or email address that is accessible by your mobile device in the space provided. Your boarding pass will be sent to your phone with a 2D bar code mobile boarding pass, which can be scanned at airport security checkpoints.

    Mobile Check-In

    • 1). Log on to flymas.mobi on your mobile phone or device if this check-in option is available in the country you are departing from. Mobile Check-In for Malaysia Airlines, known as MHmobile, is available for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad only via the iTunes App Store. Mobile Check-In is available within 48 hours prior to your flight.

    • 2). Choose "Check-In" from the menu which opens up in MHmobile.

    • 3). Enter your e-ticket number into the space provided. You will receive your 2D bar code, which can be scanned at the airport as a boarding pass and which confirms your e-ticket.

    Kiosk

    • 1). Go to the airport and to the terminal that your flight is scheduled to leave from. You can find this information on the airport flight information screens and on your reservation.

    • 2). Head over to the self-service kiosk at the airport terminal and enter in your information such as flight time and date, flight number, your name and passport information.

    • 3). Print your boarding pass and unless you need to check-in baggage, you're good to go and your e-ticket is confirmed.

    Counter

    • 1). Go to the airport and the correct terminal your flight is scheduled to leave from.

    • 2). Find the counter at the terminal for Malaysia Airlines. This option is available two hours prior to your flight.

    • 3). Check-in at the counter with your documents. You will be handed a boarding pass, and your e-ticket will be confirmed.
