How to Make a Ringback Tone
- 1). Set up ringback tones on your AT&T cell phone. Press the "Menu" key on your handset and select the "AT&T Mall" sub-menu. Select the ringback tone from the options available on the list under "Tones & Wallpapers." The selected song will be enabled as a ringback on your phone.
- 2). Get ringback tones from Verizon. Send an SMS carrying the text "LIST" to "728." Wait for Verizon to send a top-10 list of tracks available as ringbacks. The song ID is mentioned with the songs. To activate a particular ringback, enter the ID of the song in a new SMS and send it to "728."
- 3). Get ringback tones from the Sprint network. Open Sprint "Digital Lounge" on your Internet browser (see Resources). Select your phone model. Also, select the ringback you want to set up from the options given on the page. To activate a particular ringback, sign in to your Sprint account.
