How to Remove Red Paint From Plastic

    • 1). Lay the plastic on a large plastic bag. A trash bag will work.

    • 2). Put on your plastic gloves.

    • 3). Spray a generous amount of oven cleaner spray on the red paint you are trying to remove.

    • 4). Wrap the plastic you are cleaning inside the plastic bag and put the bag inside a plastic bucket.

    • 5). Leave it in the bucket overnight. This will ensure that oven spray doesn't leak onto the floor.

    • 6). Take the plastic bag out of the bucket the next day.

    • 7). Take the plastic out of the plastic bag and place it in a sink.

    • 8). Throw the trash bag away.

    • 9). Run cold water over the plastic.

      Put a small amount of liquid detergent on a toothbrush.

      Brush any leftover paint with the toothbrush.

      Rinse the plastic object off and let it dry.
