You Got a Nice Best Friend and a Jerk of a Boyfriend?

How many women out there suffer from the friend that is eternally nice to them but not right for them in terms of a relationship? And how many of these women end up with a jerk of a boyfriend they are attracted to but don't have the qualities of their best friend? I guess it's right that your boyfriend must act as your best friend too.

It's an everyday situation that has cooked up a number of corny film titles and situations that have made great films. The situations make such popular movies because we relate to them and find them familiar. Either we have been that best friend, the jerk of a boyfriend or even one of the women sandwiched between the two.

In most of the movies the nice guy gets the girl, because we love a happy ending, and so does Hollywood. But in real life this very rarely comes to fruition. It seems that in real life these fairytale endings just do not work, and that life with the jerk is just what the woman wants. They would rather go on suffering and complaining about their boyfriend than take the plunge of the unknown with the friend.

There is always the risk for friends getting together ultimately ruining their relationship altogether. This can mean that the couple can never go back to the way they were before, which is a very risky scenario to get themselves into. For some it is a risk worth taking but it is very likely that the girl will remain with the safe option and be in a relationship with the boyfriend.

The suffering of the friend is often infamous for movie audiences, and the suffering is almost always never healed. But what if everything does come right, and both of the concerned decide to give it a go. It could possibly mean that you experience the best possible relationship you ever could. Maybe you are able to get on as well together whilst going out as you are whilst being best friends. Going out with your best friend could be the most serene and blissful of relationships you would ever experience.

However the risks remain stark and clear. It seems that not many see the risk as one worth taking and this results in many best friends never getting together, and the woman's best friend's suffering will never come to an end. Life is not a fairytale or a Hollywood ending.
