"One Life to Live" Recap for Friday, August 26, 2011
Rex calls Natalie, who rushes over to the cemetery and sees the scratched out date on Gigi’s gravestone. Rex tells Natalie that he thinks Gigi is still alive, Natalie tells him that she saw Jared a few months after he died, so Natalie believes him. Natalie leaves, Rex rushes to see Bo and explains that he’s been seeing Gigi and wants to exhume her body to make sure that she is really there. Bo is uneasy about the exhumation but will do it if it puts Rex at ease.
Starr, who is having a hard time with Dorian’s departure, visits James and tells him that she is upset because Dorian left. James comforts her, and reminds her that Dorian isn’t too far away. James brings up the Todd/Victor situation, Starr is beating herself up because she didn’t realize that Victor wasn’t really her dad. James doesn’t know how Starr would’ve been able to tell the difference. Starr thinks that, deep down, she knew all along.
Shane calls Brody over, he wants Brody to set up a sting to take down Jack and Victor for covering up Gigi’s death. Brody explains that he thinks Jack is responsible, but Brad has already taken the blame for it, so his hands are tied. Shane wishes that Jack and Victor were dead, Brody is able to calm Shane down and promise Shane that he’ll do everything he can to make sure justice is served.
Tea stops by to see Blair, and explains what happened after she left – how Victor pretended to be Todd and wanted to whisk them all away to Hawaii. Blair is glad that Starr showed up in time.
Tea explains that she is still with Victor because she loves him. Blair wants Tea to talk Victor into giving everything back to Todd that he stole – most namely his life, the Sun and the money. Tea reminds Blair that none of this is Victor’s fault, Blair knows that Todd doesn’t see it that way. Blair explains her conversation with Todd, Tea can’t believe that Blair gave Todd a gun. They learn that Todd went to see Victor, so both Tea and Blair rush over to The Sun.
Todd pays Victor a visit, demanding everything back that Victor stole from him. Victor vows not to return anything, even saying that Danielle, Starr and Jack all professed their love for him. Todd is furious, he wants everything back ASAP or else. Before Todd can produce the gun that he’d been hiding, Bo and a few cops show up followed by Blair and Tea. Tea stands firm with Victor, while Blair is in Todd’s side. Bo explains that they can’t take Irene’s word, and they need to do more investigating to ensure that Todd is really Todd and Victor is really Victor. Todd has no choice but to leave his own office. Victor tells Tea that he isn’t giving up without a fight, Tea reminds Victor that Todd is still his brother – no matter what. Blair brings Todd back to Dorian’s house and tells him to get a good lawyer because he’s going to need one. Blair leaves, Todd produces the gun and says “I’m not going to need a laywer.”
Kim is visiting Gigi’s grave when she hears Bo and Rex coming, Kim hides in the shadows but watches as Gigi’s grave is dug up. Kim starts to panic, but there is nothing she can do to stop them. When the coffin is brought to the surface, Bo makes sure that Rex really wants to do this. Rex opens the lid and sees Gigi inside, unfortunately Shane shows up – just wanting to visit his mom. Shane gets very upset with what Rex did, Rex wants to take Shane home and explain why he did it. With everyone gone, Kim returns to Gigi’s grave and looks shocked & confused after realizing that Gigi really is inside. . .
