A Thirst Quenching, Luscious Melon Berry Smoothie
This thirst quenching, luscious recipe for melon berry smoothie is a fantastic hydrating and detoxifying drink, and is chock full of nutrients. Watermelon is rich in lycopene, lutein, vitamin C and beta-carotene. If you can find it, choose the watermelon with black seeds, which are mineral rich and contain ample amounts of protein, zinc and selenium. Watermelon helps relieve the liver and kidneys of toxic burden and flush waste from our systems, and is cooling during very hot weather or for an overheated body.
