If you are ready to start pricing airfare for your annual family vacation, you may be wondering if online airline tickets are the answer to your inexpensive-vacation dreams.
Is it really best to buy plane tickets online or should you fire up the family sedan and head over to the brick and mortar travel agency instead? I personally am a big advocate of online airline tickets and online travel agencies.
I just never find a better deal any other way.
Now, that does not mean it can't be done, just that it doesn't ever work out that way for me.
I have found really inexpensive plane tickets and bargain-basement airfare using online agencies.
One reason is you can check 2 or 3 (or 5 or 6 or 10) times a day very easily from your laptop or even your mobile phone and see what the prices are for that very minute.
And believe me, prices can change from one minute to the next.
You will read all kinds of articles about checking at this time or that time and how it is best to check after midnight or on Wednesdays, and so forth and so on.
I have tried all of these methods and the most success I've had has been just checking multiple times a day on a daily basis at all different times.
When utilizing this method then yes, I do firmly believe online airline tickets are going to be the most inexpensive way for you to travel by plane.
Remember though that you can really get caught up in the fun of checking online ticket prices and trying to get the lowest possible.
You do need to snap them up if you stumble on a great deal.
So don't get too caught up in checking and rechecking if you do in fact find that stellar airfare deal.
