Guide Review - Book
Robin Bradley offers a bird's eye view of Australian wines available on the market today. This is a good book for those beginning to explore the Australian wine market and would like to get a better handle on who the big players are and whose wines are worth trying - provided that your own taste matches up with the author's. I would suggest buying a few of his wines that are well-rated and seeing if your own palate, is in sync with his. It is hard to take a subjective rating/review and pinpoint a tasting match based on a number. I do think this book is definitely worth taking to your local wine merchant to begin your Aussie wine adventure.
Pick out a few wines and ask the staff at the wine store their thoughts on the wines and ratings, for added knowledge and experience.
