How to Get Credit for Used Epson Ink Cartridges
- 1). Follow the links in Resources to one of the following sites: ECycleGroup, RecycleforCharity, Freerecycling and Empties4cash.
- 2). Scan the site to determine if your particular Epson cartridge is accepted as part of their recycling program.
- 3). Fill out the recycling application at the site you chose. Each site varies in what kind of information you will need to provide.
- 4). Request a recycling kit. These kits vary from site to site, but will provide you with the means to send your used ink to the company free of charge. Often, they include a box with a plastic bag for the empty ink cartridge and a prepaid mailing form to ship the package.
- 1). Remove the used cartridge from the printer.
- 2). Follow the instructions from the recycling kit you received. Place the empty cartridge into the small, plastic bag or container that is provided.
- 3). Place these items into the box (also provided) and seal the box.
- 4). Ship the package back using the prepaid shipping form.
- 1). Once your kit has been received by the company, you will receive a cash bonus into your account.
- 2). Request that the money to be sent to you at any time via the program's website.
- 3). If you are not interested in receiving cash back, many of these sites will give you the option to donate the money to a charity of your choosing.
