How to Send Text Messages to a Cell
- 1). Select the Message icon in your phone's main menu.

Scroll down and click the "Compose SMS Text" option or the "Create" option. Your phone choices may read something similar. - 3

Type the area code and phone number, in the "To" field, of the person you wish to send a text message to and click "OK." - 4). Type your message in the white box. Many phones have a limit of 160 characters per text message and will count down until the number reaches zero.
- 5). Click "Send" or "OK" to send your message. Any replies will be sent to your phone.

Navigate to txtDrop, or the text message site of your choice (see Resources). - 2). Enter your email address in the "Email Address" field. This ensures that any replies will go to your email.
- 3). Type in the recipient's cell number in the three fields. Your cursor will automatically move to the next field as you enter the phone number.
- 4). Enter your text message you'd like to send in the area labeled "Your Free Text Message."
- 5). Click "Send" to send your message.
