Over the years, many beer festivals have popped up around the Atlanta area. These fun, outdoor events are enjoyed by all sorts of beer lovers, from those who regularly drink cheap domestic brews to those who pride themselves on their knowledge of hard-to-find craft bottles. Selection and atmosphere at these events may vary but one thing stays the same... the all-you-can-drink sampling! Below you'll find information on some of Atlanta's best beer festivals and events, and remember to get home safely!
The Decatur Beer Festival is held each fall in the Historic Decatur Square. This coveted ticket sells out quickly - often within an hour of going on sale, so you have to be quick to nab a spot at this much-loved festival. What's the fuss all about? This festival definitely has one of the best drink selections with a large variety of brews. The Decatur Beer festival also has fantastic atmosphere, including access to great restaurants and a Marta stop right on site. Plus, while it still gets quite crowded, they limit the number of available tickets to be sure the crowds aren't too overwhelming and the lines don't get too long.
