H2 SUT Off-Road Clearance Angles

Significance of:
Approach Angle: The greater the angle, the closer you can come to a hill without dragging the vehicle's front end -- in other words, greater angles allow you to climb a steeper hill without drag. With a 39.8-degree approach angle, the H2 SUT is very capable in off-road situations.
Break-Over Angle: If you are driving over a pyramid-shaped object, or rock or steep crest of a hill, the break-over angle is the spot where the upper point of the pyramid would touch underside of the vehicle while front and rear tires remain on the ground.
Surpass the angle and you'll either drag the underside of the vehicle or your tires will come off the ground -- called high centering.
Departure Angle: The steepest angle you can come off of without dragging your bumper or trailer hitch.
