It has been called "the most magnificent Wildlife theater in the World" it's also known as the Greatest Wildlife Reserve. Situated in Southwest Kenya, Mara is famous for abundance Wildlife especially the Big Five.
Its other attraction is the Maasai people a symbol of Kenya Culture well known for their distinctive custom and dress. A visit to Maasai Mara would not be complete without a visit to the Maasai villages for rich Cultural experience.
Second best Safari Spot in Kenya is the Tsavo National Park combination of Tsavo west and east together forms one of the largest Wildlife reserves in Africa. Tsavo is the largest National Park in Kenya covering about 3% of the Country. The vast Tsavo consists of about 10Million acres of pure wilderness, incorporating Savannah, ranges and hills, acacia and montane Forest and a very extensive River system. It has the largest collection of African Elephants a very popular Spot for Game Tracking and drives. Tsavo has a share of adventure stories especially during the building of Kenya Uganda Railway in 1899 when the Man Eating Lions would pounce and feed on the construction Workers. Another very important Spot to visit at Tsavo west is the famous Mzima Springs an Oasis in the dry Savanna.
Nairobi National Park takes the third position as the best Safari Spot in Kenya. This unique ecosystem boosts of being the only one of its kind situated close to a Capital City Nairobi. Major Wildlife attractions are the Black rhino, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Hyena, Buffaloes, Giraffe, Zebra, Wilderness, Elands and diverse Birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
