Or perhaps getting cozy on a swinging chair with your favorite person under the shade of a big maple tree, on a breezy summer afternoon, is more your style.
Regardless, outdoor furniture is an integral part of summer outdoor living.
Outdoor quality cushions and pillows are also necessary to bring the comforts of the indoors, to your deck or patio.

This is necessary so it can withstand the harsh and changing sun and weather.
We all know how uncomfortable some of his furniture can be, though.
Basic teak chaise lounge chairs, with their ribbed slat design can be unpleasant to sit on for long periods of time.
Or perhaps that wicker chair set feels a little abrasive on the back.
Then of course we have plastic chairs, and let's not even talk about metal furniture.
Plenty of commercially available outdoor furniture comes with padded cushions.
Typically, however, it's not long before the rigors of the harsh outdoors takes its toll and fading occurs and mold starts to grow.
There is a proper, quality grade outdoor fabric that is made just for outdoor cushions and pillows, however.
There are several different fabric types available for outdoor pillows and cushions, in fact, but the best is a woven from a solution dyed acrylic fabric.
This fabric, being exclusively created to handle the great outdoors is uniquely resistant to ultraviolet rays and color fading.
This type of fabric has a unique blend of breathability and ability to repel moisture.
Last but hardly the least, mildew resistance is also a huge concern in extending the life of your outdoor pillows and cushions and protecting them from atmospheric chemicals and rot.
Typically, outdoor pillows and cushions will last a serviceable 5 to 10 years.
Ultimately, you can get the most out of them by keeping them under shade as much as possible and taking them indoors when the weather gets bad.
So the next time you find yourself reclining on a nice teak chaise lounge chair, sipping lemonade in the afternoon sun, and reading your favorite rag mag, perhaps you will be enjoying the long lasting comfort and quality of outdoor fabric, wrapped around a thickly padded cushion.
