How to Make Candy Corn Centerpieces
- 1). Wrap three to five cinnamon sticks into a bundle with a ribbon.
- 2). Pour rocks or glass beads into a decorative vase. The vase shouldn't be made of glass or transparent so you can hide the rocks. The rocks shouldn't fill more than 2 inches of the bottom of the vase.
- 3). Insert a foam block that's at least 3 to 4 inches shorter than the vase atop the rocks in the base of the vase.
- 4). Stick the cinnamon stick bundle into the foam block so at least ½ inch of the sticks is inserted into the foam. To make it easier to insert the cinnamon stick bundle, gouge a ¼-inch by ¼-inch hole into the center of the block and then stick in the bundle.
- 5). Stick a foam ball onto the top of the cinnamon stick bundle. Gouge a ¼-inch by ¼-inch hole into the center of the ball to make it easier to stick it onto the bundle.
- 6). Stick pumpkin-shaped candies with toothpicks. Attach these to the foam ball so the toothpicks are hidden inside the ball. These pumpkin-shaped candies are often sold with candy corn, in a fall harvest candy mix, or on their own.
- 7). Stick candy corn, pointy-side first, into the foam ball until the entire ball is covered in candy corn and pumpkin-shaped candies.
- 8). Fill the top of the vase with candy corn so that the foam block is covered. Other candy corn centerpiece ideas include filling up a clear glass vase with candy corn and then topping the vase with flowers or other decorative crafts.
