White's Coinmaster 5500-D Instructions
- 1). Hold the loop at waist level and move all controls except "Mode" to the "P" setting. The "Mode" setting should be set to "GEB/NORM."
- 2). Squeeze and hold the trigger and adjust the "Tuner" until you hear a humming noise. Once you hear something, release the trigger.
- 3). Lower the loop to the ground as the Coinmaster is ready to be used.
- 4). Adjust the "Mode" level. There are three different settings. "GEB/NORM" detects all metals, including iron, steel and aluminum. "GEB/DISC MODE" is used for general searching. It will not detect aluminum foil and junk metals. "GEB/MAX" is the most sensitive setting and will detect more metals than the "GEB/NORM" setting.
- 5). Move the Coinmaster 5500-D in a swinging motion from left to right. Make a small loop with each swing. Each rotation should take about four seconds. It should always be parallel to the ground and remain flat. Never lift or tilt the Coinmaster or it won't work effectively.
- 6). Listen for different sounds as your Coinmaster detects metals. A smooth humming sound means good metals have been detected, while rough rounds mean junk metals are within your search proximity.
