How to Load a Car on a Moving Truck
- 1). Slide the carrier onto the hitch of your moving truck. If you are using a handwheel-type coupler tighten by turning completely around. If it's a lever-type coupler, make sure the locking pin is completely fastened.
- 2). Insert the plug that's equipped with the car carrier into the truck's electrical box.
- 3). Criss cross safety chains or cables that extend from the car to carrier. Do not secure too tightly. You'll need some slack so the chain can swing back and forth.
- 4). Check to make sure the emergency brake on your vehicle is off.
