Police Station

Rafe is on the phone telling his recipient that he's on the first plane out headed towards Santo Domingo in an effort to find Nicole. Sami arrives and confronts Rafe about not calling her back. He claims he's busy and hasn't had time to check his messages. E.J. arrives and asks if there's any news. He soon answers his phone and exits the office. Sami urges Rafe not to shut her out, insisting that it's not fair.

"Is it fair how you treated me?" counters Rafe, who says he has work to do.

After E.J. and Sami have left, Roman asks Rafe if there's any news. Rafe says his office is still going through the manifest, but the hurricane is slowing everything down. Roman reveals that he spoke to Carrie, who was shocked to learn that her mom was involved in Sydney's kidnapping. Rafe informs Roman that they've also gone through properties which Anna owned with Tony, but it's like Anna has dropped off the radar completely.

Rafe is frustrated that he had Anna, but let her go. Roman suggests calling Sami, but Rafe believes it would be best to call Sami when they have Anna. He implores Rafe to apologize to Sami for kicking her when she's down and for making her feel worse than she already does. Rafe insists that he's been by Sami's side since day one in the safe house. Roman accuses Rafe of going south on her when she needs him the most. Rafe wonders why Sami lied to him and aligned herself with E.J. if that's the case.

Roman suggests that maybe Sami wasn't thinking straight, since all she wanted was to get Sydney back. Rafe remarks how Sami didn't trust him to help her with that. Roman wonders if Rafe is upset because Sami trusted E.J. more.

Roman later informs Rafe that Anna is still nowhere to be found. He tries to assure Rafe that Sami loves him, but E.J. is good at getting what he wants. He warns Rafe that his relationship with Sami will be dead if he can't let the trust issue go.

Brady, Arianna, and Nicole

"What am I gonna do with you?" asks Brady as he sits behind Nicole on the plane headed back to Salem. Arianna reappears and hands Brady a note from the captain, who wants to talk to him. Ari encourages him to talk to the captain, but Brady's not interested and isn't feeling very chatty. She surmises that Brady doesn't want to go talk to the captain because he's afraid to leave her alone with Nicole. She tries to assure Brady that she'll be civilized with Nicole.

After Brady gets up to talk to the pilot, Ari decides to sit next to a sleeping Nicole, who has about four little empty bottles of booze. "Rise and shine," she says to Nicole. "Where's Brady?" asks Nicole. Ari says he's talking to the pilot so the two of them can catch up. Nicole notices Ari looking at the empty bottles and states that she has no right to judge her. She then wonders why she's explaining anything to Ari, who is a convicted drug dealer. Ari rehashes Nicole's past baby-switching sins. Nicole insists that she wanted Brady to be happy and thought Ari would be good for him. "In my absence," she adds. Ari has had enough and gets up. "He doesn't love you," remarks Nicole.

Ari refers to Nicole as a lying drunk and doubts that Brady could have any respect for Nicole, much less love her. Nicole tells Ari that Brady was by her side all along and never betrayed her trust. She stands up and reiterates that Brady was there for her every step of the way, in spite of every despicable thing she did. "If that isn't love, what is?" she questions.

Ari tells Nicole to get in her seat and leave her alone. Nicole sits next to Ari and states that Brady still has feelings for her, and there's nothing Ari can do or say to change that. Ari refers to Nicole as delusional, stating that Brady feels sorry for her, and he's too good of a person to tell Nicole to take a hike. "Actually, he's too in love with me to tell me to take a hike," gloats Nicole. Ari rehashes how Nicole lied to Brady and forced him to lie for her. Nicole refers to Ari as insecure. Brady returns, and Nicole tells him to have a nice flight, then returns to her seat.

Chloe and Victor

Chloe is at the Java Café leaving a phone message for Daniel when Victor arrives and assumes that Daniel is avoiding her. Victor sees the gift on the table. He warns her that Daniel will be gone and lost forever to Carly Manning. Chloe refuses to let Victor shake her confidence, affirming that she and Daniel are forever. He admits he'd love to have Carly out of Bo's life, but he refuses to sacrifice Daniel to make that happen. He warns Chloe to keep Carly Manning away from Daniel. "Are you actually rooting for me and Daniel?" wonders Chloe. Victor admits he'd rather have Chloe in his godson's life than a psychopathic murderess.

Brady Pub

Melanie lashes out at Carly, affirming that she only has one parent. Daniel follows his daughter outside and slips and hits his head. Melanie is horrified to see his head bleeding. Carly checks his pulse as Melanie begs her to do something. Melanie makes a call and relays from Carly that there's a possible spinal injury, possible skull fracture, and a concussion. She goes to fetch some fresh tablecloths and a first aid kit for Carly, who tends to an unconscious Daniel.

Daniel is later covered with a tablecloth as Carly insists to Melanie that they need to keep him warm. Kinsey comes outside and asks what happened. Carly replies that Daniel slipped on the ice and tells Kinsey to go back inside. "You don't have to be rude " responds Kinsey. Melanie worries for Daniel and begs him not to leave her.
