Goddess Elixir Cocktail

The first class I taught on my own to an all female group of 36 women was called the Goddess Elixir. It was my goal to educate the women on my secrets of flirting, covering the chemistry, biology, neuroscience and practical wisdom of what works and what doesn’t, loading them up with as much information as possible throughout hour. During the Q&A and mingle time afterward, I invited them drink a cocktail I created called the Goddess Elixir. The following day was an event called the Goddess Mixer where the same women and about fifty men mingled during happy hour at a local Bay Area restaurant, again serving more Goddess Elixir. I know of at least one happy union that originated from that evening. Who knows if the Goddess Elixir had anything to do with the love connection but it is packed with great aphrodisiac properties for women.

Why this curious cocktail from the relationship and aphrodisiac expert?

Blueberries –Help improve memory and one’s ability to concentrate. Loaded with anti-oxidants, blueberries are also great for heart health in three important ways: prevention of blood clots, protection against oxidation of LDL (bad) cholesterol and the lowering of high blood pressure.

Lavender—Aids in reducing stress and creating an overall feeling of well-being. Perfect to help women achieve a state from which they can orgasm more easily.

Lemon—Loaded with vitamin C, lemon also gives a quick pick-me-up upon inhaling or ingesting. Lemons also provide a dose of potassium, excellent for conducting nerve impulses and regulating the body’s internal temperature gauge.

Ginger—Spice is nice when it comes to aphrodisiac properties. Ginger aids in digestion, stimulates blood circulation and slows the production of bad cholesterol. It also increases blood flow to the genitals.

Alcohol—Especially important for assisting in getting women feeling frisky, due to the fact that when women, not men, consume alcohol they get a surge of testosterone. In fact, any kind of alcoholic drink triggers an immediate and major surge of dopamine in the brain creating effects like those associated with “being in love”—flushed skin, heavy breathing and sweaty palms, experienced by both men and women. If you consume too much alcohol will act as an anti-aphrodisiac, so make sure you stick to one or two drinks for the evening.

For blueberry-lavender syrup, bring the water, sugar, lavender, ginger and frozen blueberries to a boil in a medium saucepan. Once at a boil, reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes. Use a fine mesh colander to strain the mixture, smashing the blueberries against the mesh with a wooden spoon or spatula to get the majority of the juice out of them, occasionally stop to scrape the underside of the colander into the bowl beneath.

Return the syrup to stovetop in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Continue to simmer till reduced by half. Add the lemon juice once at room temperature. You can make the syrup up to three days in advance.

For cocktail, add ice to cocktail shaker. Combine the syrup and gin in shaker. Shake hard and strain into a martini glass. Top with the sparkling water. Garnish with a pick with two blueberries and one raspberry. Gently squeeze the lemon twist over the drink and drop into the glass.
