How to Remove Motor Oil Stains From Clothes
- 1). Lay the motor oil stained clothing on a flat surface.
- 2). Generously sprinkle the motor oil stains with talcum powder. Any type of talcum powder is fine. Buy the cheapest you can find.
- 3). Use a stiff nail brush or scrub brush to scrub the talcum powder into the motor oil satins.
- 4). Sprinkle talcum powder over the stains once again.
- 5). Roll the clothing up tightly and place it inside of a large plastic garbage bag. Close off the top of the bag tightly. Use a twist tie or tie a knot.
- 6). Leave the clothing in the garbage bag overnight.
- 7). In the morning, open the bag, remove the clothing and shake the talcum powder off. This is best done outside.
- 8). Lay the clothing on a flat surface.
- 9). Apply a grease cutting dish washing detergent to the motor oil stains. Spritz the stains with plain water to lightly wet the stained areas.

Roll the clothing up tightly and return to the plastic garbage bag. Seal the bag and let sit overnight. - 12
In the morning, remove the clothing from the bag and place in the washing machine. Wash with your regular laundry detergent on the hottest setting.
