Ever had the excitement and anticipation of a beach holiday come crashing down because the weather didn't agree with your plans?
Rainfall can most definitely ruin a beach holiday.
Never fear though! There is always a plan B.
Plan A:
You've planned an outdoor pool party.
Plan B:
Oh dear, it's started to rain. Now what?
How about an indoor themed pool party? Think about it....
You don't necessarily have to have a pool to have fun. Just make sure people are dressed up in their bathing costumes and that the dcor is warm and very summery, as the food and drinks flow.

You've planned sundowners on the balcony with a few friends.
Plan B:
Yes, you guessed it. Your end of summer holiday balcony sundowners has been washed up like the leaves in the gutter thanks to the rain. It can be just as fun inside but if you are lucky enough to have a cover on your balcony, put that up.
Its summer and its usually very warm even because of the rain.
Just think of it as sundowners with a difference.

Ag no man! You pictured a clear dark sky and a huge bonfire in the sand with the sound of waves crashing against the shores; all your friends and family laughing as they roast marshmallows on sticks.
Rain did not feature on your agenda did it? Still there is always a plan B. why not turn off all the lights in your beach home and kick start that fire place.
Open all the windows of course. A cool breeze would make it so much more authentic.
