We have to admit that Social Networks is the big "IN" of the moment, not only for individual, but also for businesses.
Social Networks are really important for businesses these days.
If your business is not there, you do not have a business.
No, Facebook was not created just to play games! For sure it can help your business.
There is not really any difference with our day to day real networking world.
The strategy to use to sell to people is the same as if you were going to a networking event.
Having participated in many evenings over the past years and thus acquired a great expertise at this level, during these evenings, the best way to create a large network of contact is to focus on others, to listen to their needs and ask how you can help them, and not only think of getting a large number of business cards and give all yours.
I prefer to come back home with only ten business cards and have learned a lot about these entrepreneurs rather than bringing back 40 cards which are going to finish somewhere in my drawer.
A mistake that most entrepreneurs are doing on social networks from the beginning is to talk only of their products without really worrying about people.
I do not know about you, but for me personally, this makes me step back each time.
Same thing if someone uses this strategy in a networking event, I would step back.
What we learn in sales courses is to talk with people first, be interested by the other people, and learn about them.
What they don't necessarily teach us, but also important to do, is to show our human side, who we are, what we like, and the way we think.
First thing is that people will always buy you and not your product! On social networks, everything is traveling very fast.
Tons of people working in the same area, so you have to keep in mind why someone would trust you rather than someone else.
And start from there.
You have to think of helping others before what will others will bring you.
Also, more tips you will provide to people about your expertise more they will follow you.
Ask people open questions because people love to talk about themselves and it will allow you to know your audience also and their needs.
Bring value to people, recognize them and keep their energy high! These are some important keys for your business to follow if you are interested to have more success.
Always remember something very important for all your social networks: Create relationships with people.
