    • 3). Taking warm, raw (not heated above 105 degrees) honey every 15 minutes is said to cure the worst cough or cold in only one day.

    • 4). The juice of a lemon added to warm water or honey will do wonders for curing a cough.

    • 5). Onions or garlic, freshly chopped and added to honey can help to cure a cough quickly. Chop the onions and garlic immediately before adding to the honey. The onions or garlic need to rest in the honey for an hour and have time to "sweat" into the honey for this folk remedy to work best.
