• The LG Chocolate VX8560, VX8550 and Touch VX8575 can play 3G2 and 3GP video files. 3G2 and 3GP are compressed file formats, allowing them to take up less space on your phone. Their smaller file sizes also make it possible to send these videos over 3G networks. WMV

• The VX8560 and Touch VX8575 can play WMV (Windows Media Video) files. WMV is a compressed file format. WMV files are typically played and created on computers running the Windows operating system. However, it is possible to play and create these files on a computer running Mac OS X by using the Windows Media Components for QuickTime plugin. Resolution

• The LG Chocolate VX8550, which is the most basic model, records videos with a resolution of 176 by 144 pixels. For playback, videos must be at or below this resolution. For example, a video with a resolution of 320 by 240 pixels will not play. The VX8560 and Touch VX8575 allow you to record videos with a resolution of 320 by 240 pixels or 176 by 144 pixels. For playback, videos must have a resolution that is at or below 320 by 240 pixels.
