Hi, my name is Tracey Brown. I'm a beauty expert, I have about 30 years of industry experience in makeup, skin care and also as a trainer. I'm currently a writer, a beauty journalist and I have a great website blingandbeauty.com where you can read more about my tips and advice. Our topic today is the best eyeshadow for wrinkly eyes. So there are a few things you want to remember when choosing your eyeshadow if you've got wrinkles around the eyes. One is not to choose a super shimmery, glittery, metallic eyeshadow also look for creamy eye shadows ones that will blend seamlessly into your skin, kind of melt into your skin and also ones with just a slight sheen, not a lot of glimmer, just a slight sheen to them and choose colors that are also pretty close to your flesh tone with a little bit of color that is not too bright. So some of the makeup I like to use for eyes that have wrinkles is first of all a primer, an eliminating primer this one is by Veil. Which actually lightens up the eyelid and lays down a little bit of luminescence for the eyelid so that it doesn't look quite as wrinkly, light bounces of of it. Secondly using eye shadows that are creamy and anti aging. These by Vapor Organic Beauty are wonderful for that, they're in a bullet form, they are creamy and light, you can put them right on use your finger tip to work them into the eye area or apply them with a brush. So we're going to start with prepping Gracia's eyes with our primer, this goes over the entire eyelid from lash line to the brow bone. As you can see it takes out the red and for those who've got lines around the eyelid it provides some luminescence for that. So immediately her eye is brightened and lifted, which is wonderful if you've got lines around the eye. We'll match her up on the second side. Be generous with the product, don't be skimpy, it's easier to blend it out. So there, we've given her that prep she's has a nice luminous eyelid. So next we'll add some color. I've got a few colors here I love the green and the kind of a taupe, these are easy to use colors and not too much where they're going to look too bright on the eyelid. You can take it straightly from the bullet, work it into the lash, lash line to the crease and as you can see it doesn't highlight any lines, but it gives a nice little color. The second side. So great for a nude everyday look. Then I'm going to take a little bit of the green and give her a little bit of a highlight in the crease and I'm going to use the brush for that. Oh where is it? Really, there it is. I can get it over here, look there it is, sorry. So add a little bit of cheer color. Open, yeah it's nice and easy. It'll blend out with the brush. And what's nice is you put these on and you've got lines outside the eye, they will not be highlighted or exaggerated and so almost an optical illusion.
