Rotary Tool User Instructions
- 1). Hold the rotary tool in one hand, aiming it away from the face. Grip the tool like a pencil for finer details, which allows for better control. Grip the tool like a golf club for bigger projects such as grinding or cutting.
- 2). Push the "On" button, and select the speed setting. Several speeds are available on the rotary tool. Higher settings are good for such tasks as cutting, carving or drilling. Lower settings should be used on metals or for projects that involve polishing and brushing.
- 3). Lower the tool slowly to the work surface. Guide the tool in the desired direction, without applying much pressure. Be aware of the tool's speed and make any changes to lower or increase speed as necessary.
- 1). Push the lock button for the shaft. The lock button is toward the top of the rotary tool.
- 2). Rotate the shaft clockwise, engaging the lock button. Loosen the nut. Unscrew the nut with a wrench if it cannot be loosened by hand.
- 3). Insert an accessory or a bit. Tighten the nut once the accessory has been inserted completely. Press the "On" button to use the tool.
