My name is Robert Weeks, and today, I'm gonna show you what exercise machine works out your TFL. Okay, guys. You're TFL is a long muscle located in your thigh. This is a very important muscle that helps you keep erect, and it also helps you keep your forward movement when you walk. Also keeps you from losing stability and momentum. This muscle is gonna be very important to work out because it's gonna help you with your core. It's gonna help you build strength within your core by having a strong bottom. The exercise machine I'm gonna show you is gonna be the leg press. The leg press is gonna be a really good machine to use. The reason why is it incorporates a heavy amount of weight and it puts limb, literally, and virtually, no pressure on your back with the amount of weight that's on there. The weight gets pushed out evenly through the hips, and back through the lower and upper back, and even through the shoulders and arms as well. Pretty much, what you're gonna wanna do with this machine is select a weight. I weigh about 200 pounds, so what I wanna do is use a third of my weight, and I'm gonna go for repetitions of 20 times, because I really wanna push this exercise. So, with that being said, I'm gonna put about 65 pounds on the machine, which might seem light, but remember, we wanna get a good exercise on the TFL. So, once I make my weight, correctly, I'm gonna position myself correctly as well. That means no arms hanging out. That means no one leg on, one leg off. That means a good position with my arms in the armrest and my feet planted right in front of me, like so. When I'm ready to start my exercise, I wanna make sure I get my breathing correct because we can't breath and exercise at the same time, we have a problem. So, make sure you have your breathing controlled and using your diaphragm. If done this correctly, with about the repetitions of 20 to 25, you'll start feeling the TFL really getting a workout. It's really gonna stretch. How do you know it's working? You're gonna have a hard time walking after. Not, it's not gonna be impossible walking, but you should have a slight stumble because your TFL is a little sore. And, that's the best exercise machine to work your TFL. See ya next time guys.
