How to Sync Voice Memos on an iPod
- 1). Plug the wide end of the dock-connector cable into the iPod's dock and plug the opposite end into the computer's USB port.
- 2). Open iTunes on your computer. ITunes opens immediately after the iPod is plugged in unless your iPod's settings are configured differently.
- 3). Click the iPod's name under the Devices header in the side window of iTunes. The voice memo will automatically transfer to your iTunes library if your iPod is set for automatic configuration. Manually transfer the voice memo to your computer by clicking the box next to "Enable disk use," which activate's the iPod's external hard drive feature.
- 4). Click "Apply" in the bottom-right corner of iTunes and double-click "My Computer" on your PC or double-click the "iPod" icon on your Macintosh's desktop screen.
- 5). Open the "Recordings" folder in the iPod window to view the voice memo file and drag it to your desktop to move it to your computer.
- 6). Click the "Eject" button next to the iPod's name in iTunes.
