Types of Checklists

• There are different types of checklists you can use depending on the type of wedding you are planning. For smaller weddings, the checklist may have a few sectional divisions, with tasks categorized in three sections: prewedding, wedding day, and post-wedding. Checklists for big weddings include a calendar, with tasks categorized by the number of months (or weeks or days) left until the wedding day. Tasks that begin 12 months before the wedding include reception and ceremony reservations, budgets and wedding themes. Generally, the closer you get to the wedding day, the longer the checklist tends to be, since many specific wedding tasks and intricate details are needed then.
