Legit Work From Home And Keeping In Shape
How many people push themselves to the limit each day, each week or even each year, or is it just easier to stay in the comfort zone and continue doing what youve always done. Isnt there a saying out there, if you continue doing as youve always done, youll continue to get what youve always gotten? Or something along those lines?
I think working at home and keeping in shape have everything to do with each other and pushing for that one last rep and heres why; pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone for that one more rep is what could make all the difference between winning and losing. Between getting the results you want from your life, from your business, from your relationships, from just about everything in life.
How often do we say we would love to do something and then negate the rest of the sentence, for example, I would love to own my own big home on the waterfront one day but (here comes the but) I could never afford that So they settle for second best (or fifth best) mediocrity and a life full of regret.
One day I decided to stop playing it safe, and to start living, really! I mean, truly living! I mean getting out of my comfort zone, feeling nervous and excited at the same time, learning new skills and doing things I never thought I would ever do in a million years; things I never even thought possible. For anyone, let alone me! Wow, and can I tell you, what a journey!
I think many of us can get caught up in the rat race or just living each day caught up in what life throws at us, always reacting to life instead of being in reaction to it, and never really wake up to what could be.
Why is this? And why is it so hard for us to break free of old habits, of the safety and security, of the known into the unknown? I think it has to do with being afraid of that one last rep.
What would happen if we were to really push ourselves, to really go for it and not look back? To burn the sail to the island and burn the ship so theres no way but forward. I think if we just let go of all the doubt, all the insecurity, all the perceived pain and potential hurt, and instead looked at what could be.
Imagine how different our life would be. How different your life would be? Imagine if it didnt matter what you did, you could not fail. How differently would you approach your life then?
You would probably approach life a lot like I do. Live with a sense of purpose but also with a sense of discovery. Of always knowing that there will always be an unknown. As we know, the only constant in life is change, so we might as well become really good at dealing with that, or rather than dealing with it, accept it with open arms, in fact why not just welcome it?
Thats what we all need to learn from the one more rep philosophy; to give life our all, each hour, each day, each year because we never know whats around the corner. Sure we could push to hard and injure ourselves, but we would never know how far we could truly go unless we just try.
Try to break barriers of what others perceive is or isnt possible for us, because after all the only limitations are the ones we set for ourselves.
How easy is it really to just give up before weve tried? Giving up is the easiest thing to do, especially when everyone else would understand if it all fell apart. But why should that be an excuse for not giving everything our all?
When I go into the gym I take myself right to the limit. Even on days when Im tired and worn out and really dont want to exercise, I still go in and do it because I know that if I dont I will feel even worse and more tired.
And lets face it, if you dont work out then youre not going to get the most from your body, from your mind, your health, your life. So taking care of yourself and going all out is one way to start that cycle and when it comes to working from home you need all the motivation and self-preservation you can possibly muster because you are your own boss. Theres no one to tell you to get out of bed or get to work, theres only you.
