C-Arm Tables - Essential Pain Management Equipment

C-Arm tables enable fluoroscopy, a real-time imaging procedure based on X-ray technology.
These resin or carbon-fiber tables are made of radiolucent, polycarbonate material which allows X-rays to pass through.
The tables are covered in soft yet durable material that prevents abrasion of delicate surfaces, insuring optimum image quality during fluoroscopy procedures.
Fluoroscopy is essentially a video X-ray, offering a real-time view of an organ or internal part of the body.
These images are displayed on a computer screen for the specialist or surgeon, and can be used to guide the placement of a catheter, for example, or for assessing stomach and bowel functions via barium (or some other contrast agent) flow through the intestinal tract.
A fluoroscopy machine delivers either a continuous or pulsing beam of X-rays which is shot against a tungsten target.
An image intensifier increases the brightness of the image, translates it to the video viewer, and the flow of electrons through various body parts like bone and tissue give the surgeon a view of potential disease processes.
C-Arm tables enable imaging centers, pain care management centers and hospitals to deliver superior patient comfort and stability while providing durability and longevity for cramped budgets and flexible venues.
The polycarbonate C-Arm table does double duty both as an imaging table and in other medical venues.
All tables feature durable, high-quality, locking casters for portability and security.
Adjustable heights, either through moveable foot plates or other mechanical means, insure that patients can easily be transferred from wheelchair to table, and provide ergonomically correct heights for surgeons and nurses.
These c-arm tables also feature self-leveling features via centralized cable management systems, provide a more than adequate surface for larger imaging needs, and support patients up to 550 pounds.
