Can it Be Procrastination?

103 13
Are you constantly wondering where the day went? When you look around, do you find nothing was accomplished, although you were "busy" all day? Are you stressed out because you had not finished one thing you set out to do? Does this cause you to feel guilty because nothing was accomplished? The reason could be procrastination.
Napoleon Hill, an American Author, put it this way: "Procrastination is the bad habit of putting off until the day after tomorrow what should have been done the day before yesterday.
" What sort of things can cause Procrastination? *Starting a project, then giving up on it, when you realize it will take longer to accomplish then you first anticipated *Having unclear goals at to what needs to be achieved, and when *Starting a project that was harder to accomplish then you first realized so you stop working on it until a "better" time *Being resentful of having to do something that others should be able to do their selves.
What can one do to help overcome procrastination? *Make a "To Do" list and work it *Choose a task you absolutely hate, do it, then reward yourself by doing something you love to do *Change your mindset, determine to get things done -- NOW! With practice, and determination, you can overcome procrastination.
Believe me, I' am still working on my own procrastination, but I keep procrastinating about writing my "to do" list and setting my goals.
If it were not for those, I would be doing a wonderful job! When you fall, dust yourself off; get back on task.
Before you know it, you will be knocking down one task after another.
Soon the "wondering where the day went" is gone.
It is now replaced with an "extra time to do something enjoyable" day.
Happy tasking!
