Adding or Deleting a User Entry Code

• 1). Find and write down the Schlage preprogrammed six digit code. You will find it on either the yellow sticker on the installation instructions or on the yellow sticker on the back side of the deadbolt lock.
  
  
• 2). Enter the six digit programing code into the Schlage keypad and wait for the "Schlage" button to beep and flash three times. The "Schlage" button will stay lit up in an amber color, indicating it's ready for programing.
  
  
• 3). Press the "Schlage" button and the number "1" button if you would like to add a user entry code, or press the "Schlage" button and the number "2" button if you would like to delete a user entry code. Wait for the "Schlage" button to beep and flash three times.
  
  
• 4). Enter a new four digit user entry code if you are adding a new user, entering an existing four digit user entry code, or if you are deleting a previous or temporary user entry code. Wait for the "Schlage" button to blink and beep three times.
  
  
• 5). Re-enter the same four digit code and the "Schlage" button will flash a green color, followed by a long beep, to indicate successful programming.
  
  

Change the Pre-Programmed Programing Code

• 1). Enter the new six digit pre-programmed code into your Schlage keypad. Wait for the "Schlage" button to flash amber and beep three times, after which it will stay lit up in amber.
  
  
• 2). Press the "Schlage" button and the number "3" button and wait for three flashes and three beeps.
  
  
• 3). Enter a new six digit programming code and wait for three flashes and three beeps. Re-enter the new six digit programming code. The "Schlage" button will light up in green and beep once to indicate successful re-programming.
